ITI is looking for a Controller to contribute to the evolution of our company. Although ITI has been in existence for over 30 years, we continue to evolve as an IT leader in Canada. There are still many strategic initiatives to achieve our ambitious vision. What could be more exciting?

We are looking for a Controller, for a period of 18 months, remotely, to plan, organize and coordinate all operations of the accounting cycle. The incumbent will ensure accounting control, financial monitoring and the reliability of accounting and financial information for the entire company. You will report to the Vice President of Finance, and supervise a team of two resources dedicated to accounting.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:

  • Review and participate in the monthly consolidation of the ITI Group’s financial statements in collaboration with the Controller.
  • Supervise and review month-end closings, support preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with monthly financial statement issuance deadlines according to the deliverables schedule.
  • Supervise the financial statements team composed of two people.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and compliance with company-wide internal controls and policies. Implement corrective measures when required.
  • Support and prepare the external audit file as required, and act as a resource person for the annual audit process.
  • Assist the VP Finance with special financial projects and produce various internal and external financial reports.
  • Collaborate in the development of decision-support tools and indicators to measure the performance of various services and products.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA designation
  • 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with Netsuite (an asset)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French. Intermediate level of English is required to communicate by e-mail with English-speaking colleagues.
