ITI is looking for a Division Controller to produce and present monthly financial statements for various ITI business units. The position is permanent, remote or hybrid, as you wish! This is the ideal position for a candidate aspiring to a first corporate controller role. The candidate will participate in the preparation of the year-end file and the analysis of financial statements. You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient execution of general accounting activities. You will report to the Corporate Controller and work closely with the Assistant Controller.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:

  • Consolidate the financial statements of all Group entities on a monthly basis;
  • Monitor accounting activities and ensure the integrity of financial information and data;
  • Perform month-end closings, journal entries and prepare monthly financial statements;
  • Produce analyses and act as the Corporate Controller’s right-hand man in the operational management of business units ;
  • Prepare year-end audit file;
  • Support the Corporate Controller in establishing, implementing and updating policies, processes and internal controls for various business units;
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Collaborate in determining and monitoring financial projections;
  • Support the financial analyst in establishing performance indicators.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA designation;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an accounting firm or a company with multiple financial statements;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at an advanced level;
  • Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite is an asset;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French. (The addition of an English-speaking employee will enable the department to continue operating with English-speaking employees).
