ITI is looking for a legal advisor to advise and support the Executive Board and members of various departments on the legal aspects of the company’s strategic activities. You will ensure corporate compliance and the preparation of legal documentation. You will report to the Director of Legal, Risk and Compliance and work collaboratively with various internal departments and the Coordinator, Compliance and Legal.
Your role at ITI
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure the organization’s legal, regulatory, contractual, and corporate compliance;
- Advise internal departments on legal, contractual, regulatory, governance, and compliance matters;
- Oversee the contract lifecycle, including support for procurement and tendering processes;
- Manage the qualification, assessment, and oversight of subcontractors and business partners;
- Identify, assess, and monitor organizational risks, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures;
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, internal controls, templates, and governance tools;
- Manage corporate secretarial activities, including the maintenance of statutory records and corporate documentation;
- Coordinate activities related to ISO standards, audits, non‑conformities, and corrective action plans;
- Design and deliver training and awareness initiatives;
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as required;
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to anticipate their impact on the organization.

- You demonstrate strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements;
- You enjoy acting as a trusted advisor to internal teams on legal, contractual, regulatory, compliance, and risk management matters;

What we’re looking for
Profile
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law and be a member of the Quebec Bar or another internationally recognized bar association;
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role, either in a corporate setting or in private practice;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools;
- Comfortable using artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) in a professional context;
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. (Adding a bilingual resource will allow the department to continue supporting unilingual English‑speaking employees based in Ontario.)
