ITI is looking for a Network Specialist to deploy networking solutions for organizations of various sizes, ranging from small to large enterprises. Your expertise will also be leveraged to support our Professional Services teams. You may also be required to produce recommendation reports aimed at remediating environments that have undergone an audit or health check. 

You will report to the Manager, Professional Services, Systems Integration and work closely with a team of experts and specialists in virtualization, networking, and systems. 

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:    

• Participating in various projects involving the deployment, upgrade, redesign, and optimization of our clients’ network infrastructures; 
• Planning and implementing required updates to ensure the stability and performance of environments; 
• Performing maintenance and upgrades on network equipment; 
• Preparing required hardware and/or software configurations; 
• Analyzing and optimizing network performance; 
• Installing and configuring firewalls, switches, and other networking solutions; 
• Diagnosing and resolving issues encountered in various IT environments;
• Occasional travel to client sites primarily located in the Québec City and Montréal areas may be required, depending on project needs.

What we’re looking for

Profile

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role; 
• Strong ability to explain and simplify technical concepts for various audiences; 
• Solid networking knowledge, including LAN, VPN, routing, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and related technologies; 
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel to client sites within the Greater Montreal area; 
• Cisco knowledge and/or certification (an asset); 
• Fortinet knowledge and/or certification (an asset); 
• Palo Alto knowledge and/or certification (an asset); 
• Experience conducting Wi-Fi audits, including the use of specialized tools such as Ekahau (an asset); 
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, as well as an intermediate level of English. Bilingualism is required to ensure high-quality service to our English-speaking clients in Ontario;
• A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required for occasional travel to client locations;
