ITI is looking for a senior data analyst to join our team. Within the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics department, our goal is to support clients in their transformation projects and to lead them in building sustainable value around data and a forward-thinking analytics culture, through the use of Augmented BI and data analytics.

As a Senior Data Analyst Consultant, you will be at the center of the action, taking part in different phases of a mandate and be exposed to the different stages of a project’s life cycle. You will have the opportunity to develop many client facing and data skills, highlight your competencies, and take on challenges of various sizes.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:

• Work as a team to understand the issues facing clients, generate hypotheses, conduct analysis, and make recommendations;
• Lead or facilitate business requirements workshops to help develop and implement BI & analytics roadmap strategies;
• Translate business and analytical requirements into technical solutions;
• Understanding and working with various types of datasets both structured and unstructured;
• Process heterogeneous data, explore and discover new perspectives;
• Defining and implementing new measures and dashboards that provide augmented business analytics to customers;
• Providing mentorship and recommendations to customers regarding in-depth data analysis, data visualizations, machine learning and artificial intelligence;
• Working in an agile environment to deploy new and creative solutions;
• Participate in business development activities (Sales engagement, service offerings, research.

What we’re looking for

Profile

• University degree (or equivalent experience) in business intelligence, information architecture, information science, business administration or another related field;
• Excellent SQL skills, ability to write and debug complex SQL queries;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau);
• Functional experience with Python, and R is a plus;
• Fluency in French and English is required, a higher level is required for business analysts;
• Experience and knowledge of agile and scrum framework is an asset.
