ITI is looking for a Team Leader, Network Infrastructure and Physical Security to actively contribute to the evolution of our company. Although ITI has been in existence for over 30 years, we continue to evolve as an IT leader in Canada. There are still many strategic initiatives to achieve our ambitious vision. What could be more exciting?

We are looking for a Team Leader, Network Infrastructure and Physical Security who will be responsible for the smooth running of operations on the job sites. You will be responsible for quality control, resource management, occupational health and safety and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Project Manager.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:

  • Perform installation of structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6 and others), fiber optics, security systems, access systems and infrastructure equipment for assigned projects;
  • Read and understand installation drawings and specifications;
  • Label and inventory installation devices;
  • Perform post-installation testing;
  • Participate in the development of as-built drawings;
  • Coordinate and direct the work of technicians on the job site to ensure alignment between performance and procedure;
  • Ensure quality of service and maintenance of an exceptional customer experience;
  • Complete various reports and progress reports.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • 6+ years of experience in network cable installation;
  • DEC/DEP/AEC in electronics technology or other relevant training;
  • Hold an ASP construction card;
  • Have a valid class 5 driver’s license;
  • Product knowledge; Panduit, Belden, Commscope and other industry manufacturers industry;
  • Knowledge of network, wireless and telecommunication equipment;
  • Good manual skills and be able to lift the required equipment;
  • Experience on high volume work sites;
  • Excellent English and French language skills.
