Technician, Managed Services, Level 3

Join us in making IT more accessible  

ITI is looking for a Level 3 technician to join our Managed Services team. The individual will be mobilized to provide remote technical support to ITI customers and respond to requests for IT expertise. You will work as part of a team with Technicians of different levels of expertise in a sharing and collaborative manner. You will report to the Manager of Managed Services.

Your role at ITI

In collaboration with our dynamic team of 7 technicians, you will be responsible for :

  • Provide high-caliber third-level support to users for all technologies used by the organization (workstations, printers, office software, applications, access to teleworking, telephony, photocopiers, fax machines and multimedia equipment), as part of incident and problem resolution;
  • Carry out the integration, installation and configuration of secure local networks, IT equipment and applications;
  • Carry out the Administration and Operation of network and server infrastructures;
  • Support technological developments in platforms;
  • Contribute to the implementation of new services;
  • Work towards the continuous improvement of services and security;
  • Consolidate and integrate infrastructure;
  • Assist technicians who provide second level support;
  • Participation in continuous evolution/improvement: maintenance in operational condition, automation of recurring tasks with PowerShell Scripting, management of incidents and user requests;
  • Carry out technical audits and technological analyzes and be responsible for the compliance and security of our solutions;
  • Carry out installation and commissioning for clients;
  • Approve regular changes and validate pre-approved changes;
  • Support the asset owner and architects in the evolution of technology by maintaining a record of deviations and necessary developments and by analyzing the health of the asset;
  • Respond to compliance and security requests;
  • Be in continuous learning mode on new technologies;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • 5 years in user support ;
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position ;
  • Proficient in VMware, HyperV, Office 365, Exchange, AD, Azure environments, Nutanix ;
  • Have a good knowledge of 2016 and 2019 servers ;
  • Have experience in networking: Fortigate, Cisco… (an asset) ;
  • Demonstrate good practices in ITIL knowledge (an asset) ;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English. (The addition of an English-speaking employee will enable the department to continue working with English-speaking customers and employees based in Ontario).
