Fidèle thrives when things are dynamic, varied, and meaningful. It’s no surprise that he’s taken on IT assignments for courthouses, hospitals, and television broadcasters. With skills in computing, telecommunications, network administration, and software support—developed across both Quebec and Cameroon—Fidèle is a versatile technician, always ready to take on new challenges.
A hands-on technician who knows how to handle pressure
Since 2021, Fidèle has been employed by ITI Resource Placement, where he has taken on various IT roles united by a common thread: being a hands-on IT technician, stepping in during situations that demand quick thinking, expertise, and composure.
In his current assignment at a courthouse, Fidèle ensures that all IT and technical equipment functions smoothly during hearings. Fidèle’s role is crucial to the proper progress of the judicial process. For example, if there is audiovisual content to be presented to the jury, the judge may have to pause the hearing. This kind of pressure doesn’t faze Fidèle, who has experienced even more stressful situations in past roles, one of which he enjoys sharing.
I had to intervene for an IT issue in an operating room. When I entered the room, I saw the patient on the operating table, their abdomen open for heart surgery. Thank goodness, I managed to solve the problem on the first try. The surgeon told their team that they wanted me to be the dedicated IT technician for their department. It was definitely a heart-stopping (literally) situation for me. I was able to make a real difference with my work.
A perfect IT career for a versatile talent
Fidèle travels across Quebec for the IT assignments entrusted to him: Lanaudière, Montreal, Valleyfield, Quebec City… This is also one aspect of his outsourced position that he really enjoys. As an opportunity-driven technician, he has served the Lanaudière region, resolving IT, software, hardware, or network problems in various healthcare or social services centers.
I know that the ITI Resource Placement team works for me and will find a role that I enjoy. For my current assignment, I didn’t even need to go through an interview. The employer told me that the recommendation and my curriculum vitae received from ITI Resource Placement gave them complete confidence. It’s a wonderful mark of recognition.
The fact that he changes jobs from time to time really pleases him, as he enjoys challenges. In fact, his passion and determination to do things well have already cost him the end of a contract: he worked too quickly! He was supposed to study a server to offload it, that is, to analyze, back up, and migrate data from a specific region to this new server. He managed to complete his assignment faster than expected.
A close relationship with his employer as well
The ITI Resource Placement team regularly checks in with their people on assignment and often organizes social activities. For Fidèle, it’s clear proof that the team genuinely cares about him and his well-being.
It’s reassuring to know that people care about me and my happiness at work. If there were ever an issue with my assignment, I know that the ITI Resource Placement team would do everything to find a solution. Empathy, warmth, and listening are wonderful qualities I find within the ITI team. I love seeing everyone at group outings and socializing with the whole team.
