Join us in making IT more accessible

ITI is looking for a Team Lead, Network Infrastructures who will be responsible for the smooth running of operations on construction sites. You will be responsible for quality control, resource management, occupational health and safety, and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Director, Technical Services.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:   

  • Installing structured cabling (Cat6, Cat6a and others), fiber optics, security systems, access systems and infrastructure equipment for assigned projects;
  • Read and understand installation plans and specifications;
  • Identify and inventory installation devices;
  • Carry out post-installation tests;
  • Participate in the preparation of as-built drawings;
  • Coordinate and direct the work of technicians on site to ensure alignment between performance and procedural adherence;
  • Ensure quality of service and maintain an exceptional customer experience;
  • Complete various progress reports and follow-ups.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • 6+ years’ experience in network cable installation;
  • DEC/DEP/AEC in electronics technology or other relevant training;
  • Hold an ASP construction card;
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license;
  • Knowledge of Panduit, Belden, Commscope and other manufacturers’ products;
  • Knowledge of network, wireless and telecommunication equipment;
  • Good manual skills and ability to lift equipment;
  • Experience on high-volume worksites;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English. (The addition of an English-speaking employee will enable the department to pursue its activities with English-speaking customers).
