ITI is looking for an experienced Level 3 Networking Technician to join our Managed Services team. The person will be mobilized to provide remote technical support to ITI’s customers and to respond to requests for IT expertise. You will work as part of a team with technicians of different levels of expertise, in a spirit of sharing and collaboration. You will report to the Director of Managed Services.

Your role at ITI

In collaboration with our dynamic team of 18 technicians, you will be responsible for :

  • Provide high-caliber third-level network/security support to customers for all technologies used by the organization (workstations, printers, office software, applications, telecommuting access, telephony, photocopiers, fax machines and multimedia equipment), as part of incident and problem resolution;
  • Integrate, install and configure secure local area networks, IT equipment and applications;
  • Administer and operate network infrastructures;
  • Take charge of technological platform upgrades;
  • Contribute to the implementation of new services;
  • Work on the continuous improvement of services and security;
  • Consolidate and integrate infrastructures;
  • Assist technicians providing second-level support;
  • Participate in evolution/continuous improvement: maintain in operational condition, automate recurring tasks with PowerShell scripting, manage incidents and user requests;
  • Carry out technical audits and technological analyses, and be responsible for the compliance and security of our solutions;
  • Carry out customer installation and commissioning;
  • Approve regular changes and validate pre-approved changes.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Practical and demonstrable knowledge in networking and firewalls (Watchguard, Fortinet, PaloAlto);
  • Tier 1 vendor certifications required ACMA/ACMP and/or ACDA/ACDP Cisco CCNA;
  • Fortinet NSE certification;
  • Knowledge of switching / routing principals and technologies;
  • Understanding of VPN and related technologies;
  • Experience with enterprise wireless solutions like Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet;
  • Knowledge of Network Management Protocols such as SNMP, RADIUS, TACACS, SSH;
  • Understanding of IT security concepts and industry best practices using;
  • Demonstrate good practices in ITIL knowledge (an asset);
  • Proficient in Watchguard, FortiGate, and Cisco environments (certifications an asset);
  • Understanding of datacenter and related technologies;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French, as well as an advanced level of English. (The addition of a bilingual employee will enable the department to continue working with English and French-speaking customers and employees based in Ontario and Quebec).
