ITI is looking for an Architect, Modern Work Environment who will be responsible for the architecture, as well as the design of Microsoft 365 solutions. Your role will be to quickly establish interest and credibility in the design, deployment, and operation of cloud-based architectures to potential customers on a daily basis.

You will be in regular contact with customers to lead detailed technical infrastructure architecture discussions to drive the deployment of Microsoft 365 technical solutions within each of your enterprise customers. You will work in collaboration with the architecture team, M365 specialists and Account Managers. You will report to the ”Modern Workplace” Architecture Team Leader.

Your role at ITI

In collaboration with the Modern Workplace architecture team, you will be responsible for:   

  • Understand customers business needs and articulate them into optimal technology solutions;
  • Follow the development of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and keep abreast of new developments;
  • Act as prime contractor in the design and implementation of projects in a structured and planned manner, able to juggle multiple projects and multiple customers;
  • Design technical migration and technological transformation plans for projects;
  • Define optimal configuration parameters for Microsoft 365 environments;
  • Lead workshops with customers to fully understand their needs and advise them on the best technological directions for their business;
  • Integrate and configure technology solutions based on Microsoft 365 technologies for collaboration, security, compliance and identity and access protection;
  • Deploy some of the following collaboration and security solutions: Teams, Power Platform, Intune, Defender XDR, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra;
  • Migrate local environments to Microsoft 365;
  • Produce high-quality deliverables.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 solutions;
  • Over 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • More than 2 years experience in multi-project delivery with different customers;
  • Experience in a complex technological environment;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (the ability to communicate in English is a must for working with our English-speaking customers and employees based in Ontario).
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language, and to adjust one’s discourse according to the audience;
  • Microsoft certifications (asset);
  • DEC or BAC in computer science (asset).
