ITI is looking for a Divisional Controller to oversee the preparation of financial statements for its various business units. This role also involves contributing to the year-end audit file preparation and financial statement analysis. You will report to the Corporate Controller and will collaborate closely with the Assistant Controller.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for the following business units: Infrastructure, ITI Resource Placement, and ITI Foundation, with the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting activities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and data;
  • Perform month-end closings, journal entries, and prepare monthly financial statements;
  • Provide support to users of the accounting/management system (Netsuite);
  • Produce analyses and management reports, serving as the right hand to the Corporate Controller in managing the company’s financial and operational activities;
  • Prepare the year-end audit file;
  • Establish, implement, and update policies, processes, and internal controls in collaboration with the Corporate Controller;
  • Prepare monthly financial statement analyses, identify strategies to optimize business unit performance, and support their implementation;
  • Contribute to the determination and monitoring of financial projections;
  • Develop performance indicators in collaboration with the financial performance team;
  • Validate the work performed by Assistant Controllers based on defined responsibilities.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
  • CPA designation;
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of Netsuite (an asset);
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written. Advanced English skills are also required to communicate effectively with English-speaking colleagues via phone and email.
