5 years at ITI Create innovate evolve

With her infectious laughter and unwavering commitment, Andrée-Anne brings people together. She and her team carry the ITI brand on their shoulders, with marketing strategies and tactics centred on human relationships.

What inspired you to work in the field of IT?

I didn’t really choose IT. I think IT chose me! In marketing, your career path can lead you to a variety of environments. Each time, you have to learn lots and adjust your perspective to integrate new information. Since leaving university, I’ve worked in a variety of fields, from real estate marketing to fashion and the arts. I was focused on completely different worlds than those that make up my days now!

Since joining ITI in 2019, I’ve been doing B2B (business-to-business) marketing and loving it. I feel like I can dive deeper into strategies and produce more in-depth content and tactics that tackle the real issues facing organizations and people today. We must think of the best ways to help our customers and build deeper, more meaningful relationships with them. It suits me better.

How would you describe ITI to a new talent who wants to join the team?

I would have so much to say! First, I would say that the corporate culture really stands out. Even with strong growth in the last few years, the team spirit is still really strong. I feel that people are tight, with a real desire to work towards the same goals, to move in the same direction.

I would also say that intrapreneurship is strong here. We have the freedom to submit ideas and to push the boundaries. In the world of marketing, that is a godsend! Our industry is a complex one, and it requires major investments from our customers, but we have room to play with the brand. We create content that showcases our in-depth expertise and ability to make IT more accessible, all the while building a colourful universe that sets us apart from our competitors. It’s the best of both worlds!

I’d also say that ITI is already over 30 years old, but the company continues to grow steadily. We’re not afraid to ask the hard questions to continue evolving in step with people and trends.

What role do humans play in technology?

Technologies are now an integral part of business strategies, of an organization’s growth and competitiveness, of an employee’s experience … of everything! ITI focuses on the human aspect of technology because we truly believe in it. Yes, there are machines, solutions and products, but none of it works without people.

At ITI, we partner with our clients. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and that changes everything. We’re not selling IT solutions for the sake of selling solutions. We want to know what’s at stake and understand each organization’s business goals, so we can come alongside them as long-term partners and help them reach those targets. Only people can make a vision become reality.

What motivates you to get up and work in the morning?

That’s easy: my team and the people I work with every day. Without a doubt. As a manager, I’m committed to and highly invested in what I do. I want things well done and done in a professional matter, but I also love to laugh and have fun. It’s very important for me to find that balance, and I strongly believe that it fosters commitment and a desire for excellence.

I’m particularly proud of my team and the network of collaborators with whom we work closely. Everyone has an important role and what makes all the difference is the expertise of each one that creates a whole and allows us to perform.

Where do you see ITI in 2027?

ITI already stands out for its focus on expert human resources, but we are constantly on the lookout for ways to innovate. We don’t want to be recognized only as technological transformation leaders; we want to be ahead on many levels. I’m thinking, amongst other things, about a major ESG (environmental, social and governance) project in which I’m involved, to the ITI Foundation, which implements IT projects supporting young people throughout Quebec, and to our employer brand, which is constantly evolving to enable our talent to grow and develop. We’re working on several fronts at once, always with one common thread: technology. We want to use our expertise to make a real difference in the world.
