Changes to the Microsoft 365 CSP program
Microsoft will soon make changes to its CSP resale program as well as a price increase for 6 products. Pricing for new products will be effective March 1, 2022.
NCE – What is it?
NCE is the next generation of Microsoft’s CSP licensing program. This is the acronym for New Commerce Experience. Microsoft has made some changes to provide greater subscription benefits to customers for the services they consume. The CSP program remains a great way for customers to acquire their licenses and obtain support. The program simply expands its scope in the products and services that can be offered under it.
What should I know?
Starting March 1, 2022, Microsoft will roll out a price correction to six of its most popular editions. These editions are: Business Basic, Business Premium, Microsoft 365 E3, Office 365 E1 and Office 365 E3. Customers who decide to switch to the new program before March 1, 2022 can lock their price for one year at the previous price. You can still pay for your licenses monthly, but the main difference will be that you’ll have to commit upfront to a certain number of licenses you take.
What do I have to do?
Since the transition to the NCE program is mandatory for all Microsoft CSP customers, ITI will take care of organizing your licenses in an optimal way. In the next few days, you will receive a document with the most recent CSP terms and conditions from NCE for your approval. Once you accept the new terms and conditions, we’ll work with you to identify exactly how many licenses to provision under NCE.
