Diverse contracts, one employer: The story of André and ITI Resource Placement
Behind the tech, there are people, each one with a unique story and a passion for innovation. ITI Resource Placement invites you to meet some of the people who have made a career in IT and who have placed their trust in us.
Over the last 8 years, André has accepted multiple temporary contracts offered to him by ITI Resource Placement. He’s certainly not lacking in opportunities to get a permanent job, especially with the current labour shortage, but he continues taking temporary IT jobs because they provide flexibility and variety.
The perfect approach for versatile people
André enjoys contract-based IT jobs because they allow him to work on a whole range of different contracts and in varied workplaces.
When you work in IT for a company, you’re assigned to one department and you do only that. With these contracts, I come in to support a project for a few months and then I move on to something else. This lets me gain experience and it adds variety to my day-to-day life.
A few sample contracts taken on by André over the years
These contracts were entrusted to him by renowned Quebec companies, or under invitations to tender for hospitals or other Quebec government entities.
With ITI, I can choose my contracts, but their team is familiar enough with my skills and interests to offer me stimulating positions.
A win-win partnership
Over the years, a trust-based relationship has built up between ITI and André. On the ITI Resource Placement side, the team appreciates being able to count on an expert like André.
As soon as we put André on the job with a client, we can rest easy, even if it’s a new project for him. In 8 years, he has always accepted the contracts offered to him!
I really enjoy working for ITI Resource Placement. In IT, there’s always something new to learn, and ITI allows me to broaden my experience.
When the opportunity arises, André also enjoys joining in the social activities ITI organizes. “Recently, I went to hit some balls with them; I hadn’t seen everyone in a while. It’s nice to feel part of a team, even if I often change workplaces.”
