ITI is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the work of the Accounts Payable team and ensure the smooth running of the entire payables cycle. The incumbent will support the Controller and collaborate with various internal and external resources. You will report to the Vice-President of Finance and ensure that the department’s objectives are met.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:   

  • Organize and supervise the work of the Accounts Payable team;
  • Act as a leader responsible for achieving department objectives;
  • Develop and mobilize the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback;
  • Participate in the hiring process and training of new talent;
  • Evaluate employee performance;
  • Ensure the smooth running of the complete payables cycle;
  • Supervise and process supplier invoices and expense accounts, credit card and other payables;
  • Prepare periodic disbursements by bank transfer and cheque;
  • Reconcile supplier statements and act as contact for supplier inquiries;
  • Support the Controller in the month-end process (analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts under his/her responsibility);
  • Collaborate and work as a team with various internal and external resources;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • DEC/AEC Accounting/Management or relevant sector;
  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Previous experience in team management;
  • Very good knowledge of general accounting;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at advanced level;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English The ability to communicate in English is necessary to collaborate with English-speaking employees and/or stakeholders.
