ITI is looking for a Network Specialist to deploy networking solutions for organizations of all sizes (small to very large). Your expertise will also be used to support our customer support teams – managed services. You may also be called upon to produce recommendation reports for the turnaround of environments that have undergone an audit or health check. You will report to the Manager, Infrastructure Professional Services, and work closely with the team of virtualization, network and systems experts and specialists.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:

  • Administer and implement LAN/WAN/WIFI/security network solutions;
  • Participate in various projects to implement, update, overhaul and optimize our customers’ networks;
  • Plan and implement required upgrades;
  • Maintain and update equipment;
  • Prepare hardware and/or software configurations;
  • Analyze and optimize network performance;
  • Install and configure firewalls, switches and other network-related solutions;
  • Diagnose problems encountered in IT environments.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and intermediate level in English. The addition of an English-speaking employee will enable the department to pursue its activities and adequately serve English-speaking customers;
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in plain language;
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, VPN, Routing, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.).
  • Cisco knowledge and/or certification – an asset;
  • vSphere knowledge and/or certification – an asset;
  • Fortinet knowledge and/or certification – an asset.
