ITI is looking for a Networking Expert for a full-time, remote position. Your role will be to promote innovation by designing and implementing customized network solutions tailored to specific customer needs. You will also be responsible for producing recommendation reports for the turnaround of audited or health-checked environments. You will report to the Manager¸ Professional Services Infrastructure and work closely with a team of experts in virtualization, networks and systems.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:  

  • Take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and to quality standards;
  • Carry out in-depth assessments of customers’ existing network infrastructure to identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement;
  • Analyze network performance indicators, security vulnerabilities and upgrade requirements;
  • Produce detailed audit reports describing findings, recommendations and proposed solutions;
  • Create clear and comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations and procedures;
  • Keep accurate records of network configurations, changes and upgrades;
  • Ensure documentation is accessible and up-to-date for internal reference and customer delivery;
  • Advise internal teams and customers on network design, implementation and troubleshooting;
  • Collaborate with architecture teams to develop new offerings and services based on market demand and new technologies;
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering their development.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts;
  • Solid experience in network architecture, design and implementation, particularly with Cisco technologies;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Cisco network technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions;
  • Experience with new technologies and solutions, such as Cisco ACI, DNA Center, NAC and SSE solutions, to enhance customers’ network capabilities;
  • Experience in network automation and programmability is an asset;
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are considerable assets;
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French, and an intermediate level of English. The addition of an English-speaking employee will enable the department to pursue its activities and adequately serve English-only customers.
