6 years at ITI Collaborate Innovate Develop

While he may be reserved, René never hesitates to get in on the action in the name of progress. Motivated by challenges, he surrounds himself with ambitious, innovative people to contribute to ITI’s success.

What inspired you to work in IT?

I specialize in finance and administration, so my skills allow me to work in lots of different industries. I got my start working in the field of automation. I was fascinated by the software and the young innovators developing the programs, far from the typical paradigms. It was my first professional exposure to IT.

And then a few years later, I consulted for ITI to help optimize the company, which was entering a new phase of growth. I felt a strong connection with ITI’s leaders, and I finally joined the team in 2017. Today, I’m helping to expand the company in the constantly changing world of IT!

How would you describe ITI to a new talent who wants to join the team?

First, I would tell them about the team and the people who work here. The family spirit, the ability to work closely with one another, the attention we give to our colleagues—it’s unique to ITI.

Of course, we face challenges. We’re a growing company after all! But everyone who works here—even senior management—is very open-minded and approachable, which streamlines the work experience.

Anyone who wants to join a company in good financial health, to take on challenges with a dynamic team in a growing sector, will surely feel at home at ITI!

What is your proudest achievement?

Several years ago, I helped to turn around a company facing difficulties. For me, the human aspect is extremely important in such an undertaking. Workers and their families depend on these jobs and are affected by the decisions that we make.

Unfortunately, we had to let some people go, but we managed to save the company and get it back on track. We contacted the people we’d laid off and almost all of them were rehired. In the end, their jobs were saved thanks to this process, and I’m very proud of that.

Today, when I look at how our team has grown and the strengths we’ve developed at ITI, it also makes me feel delighted. I’m surrounded by a young, ambitious team who are keen to get ahead and who bring new ideas to the company. It keeps me young!

What motives you to get up and work in the morning?

I live for challenges and ITI gives me lots! I quickly realized the potential of this company and that’s what convinced me to join them on this adventure. We have a vision that drives us to grow every day and find new, more efficient solutions. We have a lot of ambition and development potential. That’s what motivates me to be part of it!
