ITI is looking for an expert in Data Engineering and Data Science to join its Data & AI consulting team. You will contribute to the design, deployment, and operationalization of high‑value data and AI solutions for our clients. 

At the intersection of data engineering and data science, you will play a key role in building robust data foundations. You will enable advanced analytics experimentation and contribute to the deployment of production‑ready machine learning models. You will work closely with our clients, internal teams, and technology partners to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions aligned with business objectives. 

As a member of the team, you will influence architectural decisions, support data engineers and data scientists, and actively contribute to the evolution of our data and AI vision and strategy.

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:   

  • Designing, implementing, and operating efficient and reliable data pipelines to ensure the quality, availability, and accessibility of data required for analytics and AI use cases; 
  • Developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and AI models in production environments, following MLOps best practices; 
  • Working closely with clients to understand their business needs, propose tailored solutions, prepare clear statements of work, and contribute actively to project delivery; 
  • Participating in architectural decisions and technology selection related to data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI; 
  • Supporting the experimentation, industrialization, and evolution of solutions based on machine learning, foundation models, and LLMs; 
  • Working with modern cloud environments (notably Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem) to design secure and scalable solutions; 
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance to team members; 
  • Actively contributing to the development of service offerings and the continuous improvement of internal data and AI practices; 
  • Producing clear, structured documentation to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field; 
  • More than 5 years of experience in data engineering, data science, machine learning, or a similar role; 
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark, with experience using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and cloud data environments; 
  • Experience with the data science ecosystem: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch, and/or TensorFlow; 
  • Experience delivering projects related to advanced AI and LLMs, including prompt engineering, LangChain, agents, MLOps; 
  • Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake (an asset); 
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, to collaborate with English‑speaking clients and partners; 
  • Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP‑700) or Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP‑100) certifications are considered assets.
