ITI is looking for a Networking Expert for a full-time, hybrid position. Your role will be to promote innovation by designing and implementing customized network solutions tailored to clients’ specific needs. You will also be responsible for producing recommendation reports to remediate environments that have undergone an audit or health check. You will report to the ManagerProfessional Services Infrastructure and work closely with a team of experts in virtualization, networks and systems.  

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:   

  • Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet quality standards; 
  • Conducting in-depth assessments of clients’ existing network infrastructure to identify strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement; 
  • Analyzing network performance indicators, security vulnerabilities and upgrade requirements; 
  • Producing detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations and proposed solutions; 
  • Creating clear and comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations and network procedures; 
  • Keep accurate records of network configurations, changes and upgrades; 
  • Ensuring documentation is accessible and kept up-to-date for internal reference and client delivery; 
  • Advising internal teams and clients on network design, implementation and troubleshooting; 
  • Collaborating with architecture teams to develop new offerings and services based on market demand and new technologies; 
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional development;
  • Occasional travel to client sites primarily located in the Québec City and Montréal areas may be required, depending on project needs.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;  
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts; 
  • Solid experience in network architecture, design and implementation, particularly with Cisco technologies; 
  • Proven expertise with Cisco network technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions; 
  • Experience with new technologies and solutions, such as Cisco ACI, DNA Center, NAC,  and SSE to enhance clients’ network capabilities; 
  • Experience with Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiWiFi, FortiEMS, FortiManager, and FortiSASE; 
  • Experience with Aruba networking products is considered a strong asset; 
  • Experience in network automation and programmability is considered an asset; 
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are strong assets; 
  • Fortinet certifications such as NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6, NSE 7, or NSE 8 are strong assets; 
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, accessible terms; 
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) and an intermediate level of English. Adding an English-speaking team member will allow the department to continue its operations and appropriately support English-only clients; 
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required for occasional travel to client locations; 
  • Palo Alto certifications are considered an asset.
