ITI is looking for a Consultant, Azure and Managed Services to actively contribute to both internal initiatives and client mandates. In this role, you will be involved in delivering cloud transition projects (IaaS, PaaS) as well as supporting the operation of managed service environments (MSP). 

On a daily basis, you will analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, support deployments and go-live activities, and ensure proactive monitoring of environments to guarantee performance, availability, and security. 

You will report to the Director of Advisory Services and Cloud Transformation and work closely with project and managed services teams in an environment where collaboration, autonomy, and proactivity are essential. 

Your role at ITI

Work schedule: To support managed services operations, this role follows an afternoon/evening schedule, generally between 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM. 

You will be responsible for :   

  • Participating in the planning and delivery of cloud transition projects (native or hybrid), in close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders; 
  • Providing technical support for ongoing projects, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and assistance during deployment and go-live phases; 
  • Managing support tickets in a managed services (MSP) context, including incident analysis, diagnosis, resolution, and service request handling, in accordance with established SLAs; 
  • Performing proactive monitoring of cloud and hybrid environments, including tracking alerts, performance, availability, and security, with the possibility of after-hours intervention based on agreements in place; 
  • Contributing to the management of security, compliance, and resilience issues within Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructures; 
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient transition between project delivery and operational support phases; 
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to services, processes, and operational practices; 
  • Performing any other related tasks associated with managed services and project support.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Experience in a managed services (MSP) environment, including incident management, service requests, and SLA compliance; 
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in complex environments; 
  • Experience supporting technology projects, (deployment and go-live), including: 
    • Azure migrations, 
    • Azure Virtual Desktop,
    • Azure landing zones,
    • Network connectivity troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, Fortinet); 
  • Experience with monitoring and alert management tools, as well as best practices related to performance and availability (e.g., Azure Monitor); 
  • Strong understanding of IT security, compliance, and resiliency challenges in IT environments (e.g., Azure Advisor, Defender for Cloud, CSPM); 
  • Ability to work in hybrid environments combining operations and projects; 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft environments and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem; 
  • AZ-104 certification – an asset; 
  • Degree in computer science – an asset; 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English. An advanced level of English is required to interact with English-speaking clients located in Ontario; 
  • Availability to occasionally work outside normal business hours based on operational needs.
