ITI is looking for a Senior Advisor – Managed Services to support a strategic engagement with a major client. 

In this role, you will act as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) and play a key role in the evolution, stability, and performance of our client’s IT environment, particularly in networking, virtualization (Nutanix/VMware), and core systems. 

You will be part of a 24/7 multi-service managed services model, working in collaboration with local, remote teams and specialized partners. 

This is a unique opportunity to influence large-scale, high-impact environments while actively contributing to their transformation. 

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:  

  • Acting as the primary technical point of contact (Technical Account Manager) between the client and ITI teams; 
  • Ensuring the stability and performance of the client’s technology environment; 
  • Coordinating with 24/7 operations with local and remote teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless shift transitions; 
  • Actively participating in incident resolution, including escalating to the appropriate resources, assigning to the right specialists, and documenting procedures; 
  • Managing incident priorities and escalations in accordance with established agreements; 
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and performance; 
  • Identifying and recommending technical improvements across multiple domains (networking, virtualization, systems); 
  • Maintaining an on-site presence as required in a hybrid work model.

  • You can effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managed services (MSP) environment; 
  • Strong networking expertise (approximately 50% of the role); 
  • Good knowledge of Nutanix, VMware, and Microsoft Azure environments (approximately 25% of the role); 
  • Proven experience in 24/7 operational environments; 
  • Client-facing experience as a trusted technical advisor; 
  • VMware, Nutanix, CCNA certifications are considered strong assets; 
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), required to interact with English-speaking clients located in Ontario.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements; 
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities within multidisciplinary teams; 
  • Strong ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts effectively; 
  • Autonomy, curiosity, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies in a constantly evolving environment.
