ITI is looking for a Technical Services Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our clients’ IT environments by providing high-quality technical support, participating in equipment deployments, and supporting users on a daily basis. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and grow in an environment that encourages continuous learning. 

This position requires full-time on-site presence at our Laval office, as well as occasional travel to client locations throughout the Greater Montreal area. 

Your role at ITI

You will be responsible for:   

  • Performing break/fix activities, including diagnosing, repairing, and replacing equipment; 
  • Setting up, configuring, and maintaining workstations, laptops, and peripherals; 
  • Completing short-term on-site assignments for clients; 
  • Providing Level 1 remote technical support to clients; 
  • Deploying images, installing applications and printers, and configuring MFA and Microsoft Teams telephony; 
  • Managing employee onboarding and offboarding activities (creating and deactivating AD, Microsoft 365, Adobe, and other accounts); 
  • Providing technical support during new employee onboarding; 
  • Maintaining accurate equipment inventory and ensuring effective asset management; 
  • Documenting interventions and updating management systems (ConnectWise, Intune, inventory systems); 
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and process automation; 
  • Collaborating with internal teams to optimize operations and enhance client satisfaction.

What we’re looking for

Profile

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in user support or technical support; 
  • DEP, DEC, or equivalent education/experience in Information Technology; 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments and Windows workstations; 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve Level 1 technical issues (workstations, peripherals, printers, etc.); 
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server environments (user account, group, and access management); 
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune is considered an asset; 
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for occasional travel to client sites throughout the Greater Montreal area; 
  • Advanced French and intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken. This requirement is necessary to effectively support our English-speaking clients, primarily located in Ontario.
